mp3 experiment: chicago

this is the youtube video of the mp3 experiment that happened a couple of years ago in lincoln park during improv everywhere's tour of select us and canadian cities. the weather wasn't great, but i think the addition of umbrellas to the mix creates an even cooler visual effect.

  1. Lol …I love this! There should be more of this kind of interaction in our society. Technology often creates an antisocial/impersonal environment for those involved but the Mp3 experiment manages to do the total opposite. Thanks for posting this.

  3. I've been following Improv Everywhere for a long time and I would love to see their work reflect in art education in some form or another. I was going to join their annual No-Pants (in subway) skits but Thesis didn't let me go :-(

I recommend checking out their website! One of my top favorites are the Suicide Jumper (http://improveverywhere.com/2005/12/10/suicide-jumper/) and Synchronized Swimming (http://improveverywhere.com/2004/07/24/synchronized-swimming/)
